Augusta Commissioners: No restrictions on saggy pants

By Ashley Campbell acampbell@nbcaugusta.com

AUGUSTA, Ga.- Augusta-Richmond County Commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to not put a restriction on saggy pants.

Commissioner Corey Johnson, who had suggested the idea, decided to withdraw his proposal.

Johnson said it's a moral issue and that churches and civic groups would do a better job dealing with the saggy pants issue.

Why not just go without any. I saw a guy with white underwear in a macdonalds. The pants were way past his but. They served him. Wont go there again. The door sign said wear shoes and shirt but nothing about not showing your underwear. Your right about older people. These are not all kids eather. Females show their breasts too. But they are saying that is ok too. To make them stop don't serve them and don't let them into your business. Wal-mart watch what they put in those pants, SURPRIZE!

If a 55 year oldman walked by a school with his underpants showing he would and should be arrested for exposing himself to children. Kids do it and it's called a cultural style..?? I guess graffitti or drive by shootings will be next to ignore Mr. Commissioner.
