Richmond Academy student charged in school bus accident

AUGUSTA, Ga. - A Richmond County student is charged with running a stop sign in an accident with a school bus Wednesday morning.

Investigators tell 26 News the student was on her way to school when her car collided with the bus on Merry Street and Howard Drive.

There was only one student on the bus. That child was taken to MCGHealth.

The bus driver was taken to Trinity Hospital.

A passenger in the car was also taken to the hospital.

We're told none of the injuries are life threatening.

Please correct the first sentence. Running at stop sign??? Also, it makes it sound like the accident caused him/her to run the stop sign. I believe him/her running the stop sign is what caused the accident.
