Sunday night's storm damage north of Atlanta caused by tornado
WOODSTOCK, Ga. (AP) - The National Weather Service confirms that The weather service said Monday the tornado was about a half-mile wide and left a path of destruction about over a mile long. Most of the damage was in the Knots Landing subdivision on Highway 92. The weather service says the twister's intensity is consistent with EF-0 and EF-1 damage. An EF-0 tornado has wind speeds 40-72 mph. An EF-1 is a moderate tornado with winds 73-112 mph.
