EVANS, Ga. – This week’s Restaurant Report Card includes a perfect score out of Aiken County and showcases Stonecrest Grill in Evans.

Saku Express on Whiskey Road in Aiken rolls received a 100.

Subway at 804 East Pine Log Road in Aiken scored a 99.

Also in Aiken County, Salsa's Mexican Grill earned a 98.

In Richmond County, Indigo Joe's on Wheeler Road received a 98.

Now we move on to our lowest scores of the week.

Inspectors gave O'Charley's at 168 South Aiken Lane in Aiken an 86.

Points were taken off for floors needing to be repaired, raw meats kept at improper temperatures and mold in the ice machine.

It's a 91 for Captain D's at 1645 Gordon Highway in Augusta.

They had two violations.

Raw food was kept at improper temperatures and cooked food was kept at improper temperatures.

Finally, Moe's Southwest Grill on Whisky Road in Aiken scored a 92.

Inspectors found the ice machine needed cleaning, shelves needed cleaning and the walk-in cooler light needed repairing.

Each restaurant grade is based on the day the inspector went to that particular restaurant.

This week's scores are from June 1 through 5.

I didn't get the chance to mention during the interview...every Monday is "networking" night for a local business or company. From 5-7pm you can get free appetizers and drink specials! Great way to meet new people. :)
