WASHINGTON, Ga. – Employees with the Washington-Wilkes County Animal Shelter say thieves stole dog food from a no kill animal shelter. The shelter takes care of about 200 dogs.
An employee with the shelters tells NBC Augusta 26 News they bought food Friday night. When they came to feed the dogs over the weekend, all the food was gone.
Workers there are now asking for monetary or food donations.
