Festivals bring culture, art and great food to downtown Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Culture is heading to Augusta this weekend. The Hispanic Festival kicks off Saturday and the 20th Annual Greek Festival is already underway.

The Greek Festival is going on all weekend: Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday until 8 p.m. It's taking place at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Telfair Street.

The Hispanic Festival starts Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 6 p.m. It will be at the Augusta Common.

Tickets for the Hispanic Festival are $2 per person, children under ten get in free.

Bill, I think you meant "inspected"...but Clearly you haven't taken the time to enjoy the festival...instead of wasting time leave comments...why don't you get out of the house and try it before you judge. It is sad to see people finding negativity in a cultural event. Especially since Augusta doesn't have things like that going on.
