AUGUSTA, Ga. - Children can enjoy Fort Discovery for free if they bring a food donation when they visit.

Until the end of the year, families can receive one free child’s admission for each donated item.

All non-perishable donations will go to the Golden Harvest Food Bank.

There is a limit of five admissions per family. Adult tickets are $8 each.

Fort Discovery is located at One Seventh Street in downtown Augusta.

It features more than 250 hands-on exhibits, live PowerStation interactive science demonstrations, portable StarLab, and a theater.

Fort Discovery is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays
from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Fort Discovery Will Be Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
