Waynesboro man sentenced for child pornography

WAYNESBORO, Ga .- A Waynesboro man was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Thursday for having child pornography.

Roger Gambrel was convicted in June.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for Georgia's Southern District says when Gambrel was arrested, investigators found more than 2000 pornographic pictures of kids.

His arrest was part of a nationwide crackdown on sex offenders.
