A young man from Aiken is riding a bicycle across the country in hopes of raising $15,000 to help fight leukemia and lymphoma. Zac Holford's grandfather and aunt are both survivors of lymphoma, so he wants to help others fight the disease. He's on day four of his 80-day trip, which will cover 12 states. "People so far have been usually nice. What I mean by that is on two lane highways they'll give me plenty of space. Also when I'm talking to people telling them what I'm doing, not so much asking for funds, they'll just reach straight for their wallets and support my cause which is just amazing and I never expected that niceness," Holford said. Holford will finish his trip July 19 in Astoria, Oregon.
