In Tuesday's Healthy U segment, Ask-A-Nurse Julia Long talked about how the elderly can prevent dangerous falls.

Each year about one in three Americans 65 and older suffers from a fall and about 30 percent of those falls require medical treatment.

Long gave some tips on how to avoid those dangerous falls.

Install handrails and grab bars to secure your stability.
