A Columbia County school is being cleaned tonight after a student tested positive for a bacteria.
Cedar Ridge Elementary sent out a letter to parents at the school saying a student has shigella, an illness that causes vomiting and diarrhea.
It's passed by not properly washing your hands.
The school is being cleaned as a precaution.
Local health officials say shigella can also cause fever, nausea, stomach cramps and straining to have a bowel movement.
