EVANS, Ga. - Most high school seniors are focused on working to graduate, but one Columbia County teen decided to use his senior project as a way to give back.
Blake Reynolds, a Greenbrier High School student, recently donated $1200 to the MCGHealth Children's Medical Center.
Reynolds was the writer, producer and choreographer of a production called Life Beat.
"I saw Stomp in Atlanta with a bunch of friends and I've already like percussion anyway. I do music all the time and it was really inspiring they didn't use any drums; they used trash cans or random instruments. I want to do that so i decided to that for my senior project."
All the money from admission to the production was donated. Reynolds also performed for the patients and staff at MCGHealth Children's Medical Center when he donated the check.
