Child tests positive for H1N1 at Fort Gordon

FORT GORDON, Ga.- A seven-year-old child tested positive for H1N1 at Fort Gordon.

A public information officer tells NBC Augusta 26 News the child was examined and tested at Eisenhower Army Medical Center on July 15.

The seven-year-old was given antiviral medication and sent home to recover.

This is the 15th case of the virus, also known as swine flu, to be reported at Fort Gordon.
