Aiken County solicitor Barbara Morgan says next week her department could start dismissing several cases involving the four officers who were fired from the Aiken County Sheriff's office narcotics division.

She says they plan to start with victims cases first.

At least 300 drug cases are in jeopardy after the officers were fired amid allegations of sex and alcohol.

The officers are accused of using an unmarked county car to go from one bar to another.

How many cases were dismissed as a result of the sheriff firing his entire narcotics unit? NBC Augusta should do a followup story on this.

Do we know what cases have been dismissed, the charges and what the taxpayer cost involved was to deal with each case?

About time. Can't beleive that she's keeping these people in the detention center at taxpayer's cost of $50/day knowing that she doesn't even have a case.
