Michael Vick Agrees To Set Aside Money To Care For Dogs Seized From His Dogfighting Operation

SUSSEX, Va. (AP) Suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael
Vick will set aside money to pay for the care of pit bulls seized
from his dogfighting operation.

Federal prosecutors made that demand. A consent order says Vick
has agreed to place about $928,000 in an escrow account The
money must be deposited by Friday.

Prosecutors last week filed court papers seeking a freeze on
money, saying they were concerned about Vick's ``deteriorating
financial condition.''

Vick is being sued for millions of dollars by several creditors,
and an arbitrator has ruled he should repay the Falcons nearly $20 million in bonus money.
