Aiken County Man Accused Of Sex Crimes Against Children

A Graniteville man is accused of a series of sexual assaults dating back to the 1970's.

William "Bucky" Hicks, Jr. is charged with five counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor and four counts of Lewd Act Upon a Minor.
Aiken County Investigators say Hicks sexually assaulted an 11-year-old boy between 1973 and 1977.

They say Hicks came in contact with young people through his involvement in youth sports.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged Hicks in February 2002 with another sexual assault involving a 15-year-old. The case is awaiting prosecution.

Aiken County Sheriff Michael Hunt says there are more victims and he's asking that they come forward.
