Augusta radio personality Austin Rhodes won more than $1 million in a slander lawsuit against radio station WAAW Rejoice Network.
Rhodes, of WGAC-AM 580, filed the lawsuit after former host Ryan B. and Charles 'Champ' Walker, Jr., claimed Rhodes had been arrested for spousal abuse.
Rhodes also said the radio personalities also called him a sex offender.
Several months ago, Richmond County Sheriff Ronnie Strength won a similar slander suit against Ryan B. and WAAW for $6 million.
So far, Rhodes and Strength have not received any money from the settlements.
Rhodes told NBC Augusta he and his attorney will pursue the settlement "until the end of time."
