Robbery Suspect Escapes From Jail Southwest Of Emanuel County

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP)- The FBI has issued an alert for an armed
robbery suspect who escaped from a Georgia jail and is deemed armed
and dangerous.

The FBI said 18-year-old Kiri Datron Lovett fled on Tuesday from the Wheeler County Jail, about 80 miles west of Savannah. Local
authorities did not release any details about the escape.

A federal warrant was issued Wednesday in Savannah charging
Lovett with conspiracy to use, carry and brandish a firearm during
a crime of violence.

Lovett stands 5'6" to 5'8" tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown eyes and a tattoo on his upper right arm.
