For the second day in a row, deputies have arrested a burglar suspect in the Hill area of Augusta.

NBC Augusta was the only station there as Richmond County deputies arrested Christopher Miller.

Officers tell NBC Augusta Miller broke into a home Wednesday night while a child was inside. Then Thursday afternoon, they say Miller tried to break into another home less than a mile away on Walton Way.

The homeowner called deputies and they arrested Miller a short time later.

At least 13 homes have been broken into in the Hill area since mid-march.

Miller is the fifth person arrested as part of this investigation.
