Richmond County Schools Face $13.4 Million Shortfall

The Richmond County school district is facing a $13.4 million budget deficit next year.

School Superintendent Dana Bedden says in order to ease the strain they may look at employee salaries.

The school district has almost 5,000 employees who account for 90 percent of the budget.

Aiken County School district is facing $5.1 million deficit next year as well.
