Women make up more than half of the church's population. And with that, many of them are moving from the pews to the pulpit.

Joyce Meyer, Juanita Bynum and Paula White are three of the most well-know preachers in the world and of course...they're women.

And over the years more and more churches have decided to allow women to preach from the pulpit,but not without criticism.

In this segment of NBC Augusta Morning News at 11am, Liz sits down with Pastor Loretta Butler of Word of Faith Christian Fellowship and Evangelist Camelia Lockhart on the challenges they've had to overcome.

Pastor Loretta Butler has been in ministry for over 30 years. And Evangelist Camelia Lockhart is over the Women in Public Ministry at the New Life Worship Center in Hephzibah, GA.
