Jefferson County was one of the hardest hit areas during last Sunday's severe weather.

One woman, a resident of Jefferson County, tells Jay how she was out in that storm when it hit Louisville.

Earnestine Walker certainly is a survivor. Why? Because she was driving when a twister picked up her car!

Walker said it all happened when she was on her way home from work.

She started to change her mind and was going to turn back into the parking lot of her job to park there.

The rain was so heavy she couldn't see the road.

By that time it was too late.

She began to feel her car lift off the ground.

That's when Walker says she began to pray.

She says she remembers being surrounded by a white cloud.

She could hear debris hit her car.

When she opened the car window rain and debris came into her car.

She was able to see where she was and get control of her car.

Walker says she believes opening the car window depressurized the car.

Walker was not injured and her car was not damaged in this ordeal.
