Suspect in Augusta cellist murder arrested

Richmond County investigators arrested Anthony Joe, Jr. He's accused of killing Augusta Symphony cellist David Reader.

Investigators made the arrest Tuesday afternoon in south Augusta.

Deputies say they got a tip from one of Joe's family members about his whereabouts. Joe is one of two suspects charged with Reader's murder.

A 16-year-old was arrested last month.

In May, deputies found Reader shot to death in his car in front of East Augusta Commons on East Boundary. Investigators say Reader was in the neighborhood to buy marijuana.
