Christopher Walker was arrested Tuesday in Waynesboro after the police department there heard a news report and spotted a white Ford Explorer investigators had been looking for.

Walker is accused of robbing Quick Cash Payday Loans on Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta Monday.

Investigators say just before 6 p.m. Monday Walker pointed the handgun at employees, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect then ran out of the business using a crutch and got into a white Ford Explorer, driven by a woman.

Once Walker is extradited to South Carolina he will be charged with armed robbery, and having a weapon during a crime.

The Aiken County Sheriffs Office is investigating a possible link to another payday loan robbery in Aiken earlier in the day.

The charges on Payday loans are less expensive than bouncing a check or paying late fees. It's also a great option for someone who doesn't want to get caught up with credit cards debts. They can also help in a tight situation, its quick, and most places are open longer hours than banks.
