Funeral set for SC teen killed by Six Flags ride

ATLANTA (AP) - A teenager from Columbia, SC who was hit and killed by a roller coaster at a Georgia amusement park will be remembered at a funeral service a week after the accident.

The funeral for 17-year-old Asia LeeShawn Ferguson IV will be held Saturday at Oakey Spring Baptist Church in Springfield, SC.
He will be buried in the church's cemetery.

Police say Ferguson scaled two fences and wandered into a restricted area where he was decapitated by the Batman ride at Six Flags Over Georgia on June 28.

The ride reopened Wednesday after being inspected by state officials. State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond says the park must make signs bigger, post more of them and add the words ``extreme danger.''
