Craig Butler with Melrose Pyrotechnics showed NBC Augusta all the different fireworks that are used to light up the sky during RiverBlast.

"You can't find these in your normal fireworks store. These are class B fireworks; Class C is consumer fireworks that you find in a store. These are especially made for shows,” said Butler.

He also said a lot goes into putting it together.

"This is a big event thanks to NBC Augusta. This show we started this morning at 6:00 a.m. we have ten men working and you can see from all the shells its going to be a big show, excellent show, better than last year,” said Butler.

Each year Butler said they try to do better than the last.

NBC Augusta asked him if he could give any clues about how he planned to top last year.

"I'm not going to tell you, but I will say that you will walk away with a smile,” said Butler.
