The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a convenience store robbery.

Investigators say two men and a woman robbed the Savin' Haven on Mike Padgett Highway Tuesday afternoon.

A witness gave investigators a description of the vehicle used during the robbery. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested a man and woman shortly after the incident.

Investigators set up a search area around Old Waynesboro Road and Hephzibah-McBean Road to find the third suspect.

They searched from the sky and the ground using Richmond County K-9 and a Gold Cross helicopter.

Investigators arrested the third suspect, Maurice Ward three days after the robbery.
