Augusta fugitive in jail after 2 years on the run

A woman who's been on the run for two years is now in the Richmond County jail. Richmond County's Vice division and Crime Suppression team arrested Tonjala Freeney for a kidnapping that happened in 2006.

An incident report shows Freeney kidnapped a woman at gunpoint, then drove her into North Augusta. The woman was able to escape, but Freeney has been on the run since that time.

Investigators tell NBCAugusta, Freeney is also charged for several traffic violations, including fleeing from deputies.

Pardons and Parole also helped in the arrest.

She need to be put over the jail.I glad your got to her before I did. I would have broken every bone in my body on her. She took old people hard earn money.She let my mommy house just in time and I still want a piece of her for what she did to my mother who is 87 yr old. I pray the judge sock it to her. We don't need people on the street like her.
