Obama campaign pulling staff out of Georgia
ATLANTA (AP) - The Democratic presidential campaign of Barack Staffers confirmed the movement of resources on Tuesday. The move comes nearly three weeks after the Obama campaign dropped its TV ads in Georgia. Campaign officials declined to say how many of some 75 paid Obama staffers will be redeployed and denied that the move signals reduced expectations in the state. Caroline Adelman, spokeswoman for the Obama campaign in Georgia, The last time a Democratic presidential candidate won the state of Georgia was 1992, when Bill Clinton ran for his first term.
