Aiken County deputies looking for men wanted in kidnapping

By NBC Augusta Staff

AIKEN, S.C.- Aiken County deputies are looking for a second suspect and working to identify two others in a kidnapping and burglary.

The sheriff's office has a warrant for Rusty Dunbar. Deputies have already arrested Christopher Herndon.

Investigators say those men and two others broke into the victim's home on Wire Road early Tuesday morning, tied him up with an electrical cord, cut him with a knife, and stole his car.

The victim was treated and released at an area hospital.

I'm wondering why I didn't see this on the news. This is kinda close to home. Would've liked to have known about it. Maybe I just missed it. Do they know why the did this yet?
