AIKEN, S.C.- A heated debate about whether absentee voting can legally happen at satellite offices in Aiken County was the big question at the Board of Elections office Monday night.

The election board along with more than 30 concerned voters met to discuss that issue.

For weeks, Aiken has been advertising polling locations for absentee voting. But a man from Greenville County questioned whether the votes should count.

“I don't want to see any vote thrown of. If people vote in satellite offices their vote could be thrown out. Satellite offices don't comply with state statute,” said Todd Kincannon, Greenville County voter.

"What we are doing by not setting up satellite offices is disenfranchising our voters. The elderly have a difficult time getting to the polls and are dissuaded from coming," said Joann England, Aiken County voter.

The board voted to suspend absentee voting at the satellite offices until they can investigate the situation. Absentee voting is being held a the elections office on Vaucluse Road.

Todd Kincannon is a only a Republican hired hand/hatchet. He was sicced on the Board of Elections by a prominent local Republican elected official, whose involvement in this reprehensible attack on the democratic voting process is widely known. His desperate behavior illustrates clearly his panic at knowing that his party will lose the national election.

Todd Kincannon seems to be a Republican operative who is making a career of suppressing and disenfranchising South Carolina voters. When he says “someone” may challenge the satellite voting stations, he means HE will challenge them. He wins either way. If the satellite offices are closed, he gets what he wants…disenfranchised voters. If the satellite offices are opened, he sues "on someone’s behalf". He earns his legal fees and possibly gets the votes tossed. It’s a winning proposal for him.
