U.S. Attorney General collapses during speech
WASHINGTON, D.C. (NBC) - U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey collapsed Thursday night in Washington, D.C. The 67 -year-old Mukasey was addressing a Republican lawyer's organization. Witnesses say he started slurring his words about 20 minutes into his speech. F.B.I. Agents who were providing security called for medical help. The fire department says Mukasey is in serious condition. Mukasey became Attorney General on November 9, 2007.
