Internet sting leads to the arrest of a Columbia man

AIKEN, S.C. - A man from Columbia, South Carolina is in jail after an undercover Internet sting led to his arrest.

Investigators say Mark William Harris was planning to meet and have sex with a person who he thought was a 13-year-old girl.

Harris was actually communicating with an Aiken County Sheriff's deputy. Officers arrested Harris when he arrived at the meeting place in Aiken County.

Harris has been charged with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor and one count of attempted criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Sorry but this story is incorrect. First of all, he is not in jail. And second, there was nothing in any consversation mentioning sex or anything sexual related. Just gettin some much needed facts straight.
