HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Penn. (NBC NEWS) - A toddler named after Adolf Hitler and his two young sisters have been removed from their home by Social Services.

Adolf Hitler Campbell garnered national attention last month when a Greenwich, New Jersey, supermarket refused to write his name on a birthday cake.

The store said it was inappropriate and refused to give an apology after the parents demanded one.

Adolf and his two sisters, 1-year-old JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and 8-month-old Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, were removed from their parents' home Tuesday night by the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services.

It is unclear why the children were removed from their parent's home.

Heath and Deborah Campbell, the children's parents, were scheduled to appear for an undisclosed hearing Tuesday, but it was postponed, according to the court web site.

Calls to the children's parents were met with a message that the line had been temporarily disconnected.

i understand people want to give their children unique names, i wanted the same thing. i don't, however, understand naming a child something that reflects pure hate and evil. people say that it's wrong for these children to be taken, i disagree. if these parents gave their children names that breed hate, i can only imagine what other god awful things are taking place. hopefully these children won't be returned to their parents and will actually have a chance at a good healthy life w/o hate

Anonymous you are a moron! These children were obviously named in admiration and revere to Nazi Germany and some horrific individuals in Nazi German history. "People need to learn to mind their own business" was a big reason why the atrocoties that occurred in Nazi Germany were allowed to happen. Hate is not born in children! Their parents are nuturing these hateful idealogies in them. I am glad to hear that they were taken away!

These children are paying for price for the parents obvious racism and stupidity. Keep the children out of the home and change their names. Changing their names will only save the children headaches later on in life. Parents think wild and wierd names are the "in thing" or "cool" thing to do and do it instead of thinking about the long run. But the combination of racism and bad name choices are two completely different things. Shame on these parents !

Unless there are some undisclosed reasons for the children being removed, the DEFACS had no right to take them away just because of their names. Everyone else gets to name their children whatever they want, why shouldn't these people? Were their names hurting people? NO. These children are innocent victims here and they are the ones being punished. I feel sorry for them and their parents. People need to learn to mind their own business!
