Gingrich says Obama's health plan will fail

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich
says he thinks President Barack Obama's proposed health care system
will fail.

The Georgia Republican spoke Thursday at an event held by the
Center for Health Transformation he created after levaing Congress.

Gingrich says plans Obama is supporting are beginning to fall
apart. He says hospitals, insurers, drug companies and consumers
will begin picking the plan apart as soon as they see what they
have to give up.

Gingrich is a potential 2012 presidential candidate and said
he'll make a decision on a bid by January 2011.

He appeared during part of the program with South Carolina Gov.
Mark Sanford who has speculation growing about his own White House
hopes. Gingrich noted Sanford has a lot of fans around the country.

I think Bush was a disaster (as was his father), Clinton was a clown (still is) and obama a Marxist. The only guy who ran for President and made (mostly) sense was Ron Paul. And you see how he did. Got a feeling this Country is finished. All empires fall-guess it's our turn. Unless, of course, someone comes out of nowhere to put America First.

Gingrich is a has-been hack that caters to redneck xenophobia. Boy do folks blubber and whine in this neck of the woods! Everybody has to pay taxes, what do you want, education, an army, good roads and a stable economy for free? Ain't gonna happen. Obama anguish? This is a democracy, the majority weighed in and he is the new president, buck up and get over it. Everybody knows the gems that ran the country for the last eight years were no Einsteins, boy what a bunch of sour grape crybabies.

Gingrich as Speaker had his cheating discovered by the Democrats-who then proceeded to blackmail him. So this did work against the taxpayers. Our side has to be better than Clinton, obama etc because we have much more to lose. The Democrats have no morals so they can get away with this. We can't. And now we our out in the wilderness-for the time being.

Well at the very least his cheating was not against the taxpayers of America. His personal affairs is his business not ours. Plus he had the common decency to step down. Good grief look what happened in the Oval Office. That one didn't have the decency to step down now did he? I'll vote for Newt if he runs and I'll do my very best to get others to vote for him too.

It is appropriate to give him a chance to repent. Perhaps we should forgive his past transgressions. Newt is right, but we need fresh voices to ring loud and clear about the reckless Obama.

Gingrich had his shot and blew it badly. He let us down because he was too busy cheating on wife #2 with soon to be wife #3. As a Conservative, I agree with him most of the time-but he is not an honorable man.
