HEPHZIBAH, GA. - A teenager driving on the road in a go-cart was hit by a man in a jeep and taken to the hospital, Saturday.
The accident happened on the 3900 block of Karleen Road in Hephzibah.
The driver of the Jeep says the teen pulled out in front of him and slowed down to make a turn, that's when the driver hit him.
According to the report, the speed limit of the road is 45 mph. Police say the 13-year-old boy's go-cart was not legal to drive on the road, but that the Jeep driver is at fault for following too closely.
The teen suffered a broken arm, but is expected to fully recover.
