TRENTON, S.C.-- Georgia's signature fruit was honored at the 39th annual Ridge Peach Festival, in Trenton, S.C. Saturday.

The peachy celebration brought in thousands of hungry and fun seeking adults and kids.

There was peach pie, peach ice cream, peach cobbler, but it wasn't just about the fruit; there were rides, live music, antiques and crafts.

So what do the vendors and festival workers think is the best part of Peach Festival?

"Peaches of course. It's the queen of the fruits. Who doesn't like peaches? But I think having people come out and enjoy what you're doing is really the most important thing here," Ike Carpenter said.

The Ridge Peach festival was voted "Best Event" in Edgefield County. It was both fun and free for everyone.
