AUGUSTA, Ga. - Michael Jackson visited Augusta almost two and a half years ago after the death of James Brown.

Jackson was among several celebrities including Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who came to honor Brown.

One of the people to meet with Jackson at James Brown's Funeral was Minnesota Fattz, a co-host of the morning show on 96.3 KISS FM.

Fattz says he knew the King of Pop, and talked to him from time to time.

So we asked him, and others in the area what they make of the news.

Most were saddened to hear the news talking about how his music was a fond memory during their lives.

Michael Jackson will be missed, but remembered for many generations. Human Nature, Man in the Mirror, and Remember the times are songs that will transcend time with their message of love, life, and happiness. Rest in Peace Michael.
