AUGUSTA, Ga. - One of the most important moments in a man's life is asking for his love's hand in marriage.
Imagine putting that most intimate of moments on television!
It happened Wednesday night on NBC Augusta 26 when a young man from North Augusta popped the question.
"Danielle Megan Robertson will you marry me?"
Her answer? "Yes!"
All eyes were on Thomas Glover and Danielle Robertson as his video proposal aired during the NBC show "America's Got Talent" on every TV at Wild Wing Cafe.
"I'm shocked, I'm shaking," Danielle said.
"She wanted to be proposed to with just me and her or a lot of people. That's a lot of people," Thomas laughed.
The premise of Wednesday's celebration was supposed to be Thomas' 21st birthday and Danielle's family played along.
"My grandmother played it off the best. She said 'make sure you look really nice tonight. It's his birthday' She was putting all her jewelry on me," Danielle explained.
With all the nervous TV moments now behind them, the bride-to-be plans to walk down the aisle next spring or summer while her hubby-to-be plans to open a restaurant.
"I'm the most happiest man alive," Thomas said.
"I love this boy with all my heart. I love you too with all my heart," they said and sealed with a kiss.
Thomas says he grew closer to Danielle last year during the time her grandfather, who was a preacher at his church, lost his battle with cancer.
Danielle and her family live in Florida, but she's planning to start her job hunt and move to the Augusta area soon.
