AIKEN, S.C. - This week's Restaurant Report Card includes a follow-up inspection, two perfect scores and showcases VZ's Big Easy Restaurant on Chesterfield Street in Aiken.

We begin with a follow-up inspection - Dinner Bell Restaurant on Wagener Road in Aiken scored an 85 last time. This week they received a 100, which lands them with the highest scores of the week.

In Aiken County, China on East Martintown Road in North Augusta scored a 100.

Wife Saver at 651 Silver Bluff Road in Aiken comes in with a 99 along with Golden Corral at 2265 Whiskey Road in Aiken.

Our lowest scores of the week are all out of Columbia County.

Sidetrack Bar and Grill on Washington Road in Martinez rolls in with a 64.

Some of their violations include employees eating in the kitchen, employees not wearing gloves and food kept at improper temperatures.

It's a 66 for Lotus on Columbia Road in Martinez.

Inspectors found food not properly covered. All equipment needed cleaning and the walk-in cooler was not working properly.

Finally, Kinki Sushi comes in with a 70.

Points were taken off for properly dated food, the dish machine not at the proper temperature and employee drinks without lids.

Keep in mind scores are based on the day the inspector visited the restaurant.

This week’s scores are June 22 – 26.
