Woman decorates for Fourth of July, despite stroke

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Every holiday Frances Peck decorates her North Augusta home.

After suffering a stroke she didn't think she'd be able to do it anymore.

But Peck's stroke didn't hold her back.

She has everything from Uncle Sam to windmills.

Peck says it's something she has to do, not just for others but now for herself.

"I can't sit, they've been trying to keep me in a chair ever since that happened. The doctors say no, the more you move around and keep your strength up; the better it is for you,” said Peck.

Peck says you can expect to see her house fully decorated again on Halloween.
