Naima Imani Lett made her national TV debut in the Lifetime film 'Inspector Mom' just a few weeks ago. The film has already been transformed into a series for the network.

Lett graduated from Davidson Fine Arts School and worked with the Augusta Mini Theater.

"It's hard work," Lett says. "I wouldn't tell anybody to get into it if they're just looking for a free ride to stardom or fame, that's not why you do it. It's a lot of hard work and a lot of disappointments along the way. It's also a lot of wonderful, wonderful highs...but you've got to love it!"

Lett also stars in a one woman play and runs a production company with her husband.

Her next big project -- she'll appear in major motion picture alongside Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.
