Man accused of holding woman and baby at gunpoint arrested

AIKEN, S.C. - Aiken County investigators have arrested the man, who they say, held a gun up to a baby during a robbery.

Investigators tell NBC Augusta 26 News, on Tuesday Tequan Holmes approached a woman in her yard in Whispering Pine Terrace.

She says Holmes held a gun to her 2-month-old and demanded money. She says she threw the money on the ground and he took off.

After the incident investigators brought out the bloodhounds to look for him but weren't able to find him.

The victim identified Holmes in a photo lineup for police. Thursday night Holmes was arrested. He is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.

I say put a gun to his head except only pull the trigger in this instance. This made me want to apply for a gun license to thrawt such attacks. These crooks are going to be surprised one day when they meet the dirty end of the stick.

Anyone who would hold a gun to an infant is an absolute animal How low do you have to be to threaten the life of a baby? There should be a special charge for him putting a gun up to that baby, and threatening the life of an infant.
