New college campus to open in Waynesboro

WAYNESBORO, Ga.- A new college campus is heading to Burke County.

A representative with East Georgia College says classes at the new Waynesboro site are expected to begin in January.

She also tells NBC Augusta 26 News the campus will bring a dozen new jobs.

East Georgia College is a two-year school.

Its main campus is in Swainsboro.
