Honda Accord a 'hot' car in Georgia-Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - The National Insurance Crime Bureau says
the 1994 Honda Accord was the automobile most likely to be stolen
in South Carolina last year.

The "Hot Wheels 2009'' study released Monday says older model
vehicles like the 1994 Accord remain a popular target for car
thieves. The 1997 Ford F150 Pickup ranked second on the state list,
followed by the 1997 Ford Explorer, the 1989 Chevrolet Caprice and
the 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup.

Allison Dean Love with the South Carolina Insurance News Service
says motorists should consider the theft rate when buying a new
car.
