GRANITEVILLE, S.C.- An agreement to change water companies in the Graniteville area could be near and end higher bills.
NBC Augusta 26 News has confirmed a meeting will take place to approve Valley Public Service's water supply and do away with Avondale Mills.
It's set for Monday at 6 p.m. at the VPSA office on Pine Street in Gloverville.
The battle over whether customers will have to pay Avondale for bills with an increase as much as 700 percent continues.
Avondale Mills says it can no longer subsidize its water.
