CLEARWATER, S.C. – Free hot air balloon rides, face painting and a lot of “fair food” was served at the fourth annual fall festival at Clearwater Elementary school Sunday.

The festival was hosted by Heights Baptist Church and sponsored by the school.

Church goers say this event really helps keep spirits high when people can't afford to go to the fair or other fun events.

"I love the people, I love reaching the people, I love seeing the kids happy. the kids get to do everything they want to do for free,” said Heights Church Pastor Mark Canipe.

"I told him to do a butterfly and then he put it all over my face,” said little Lauren Subert.

Over a-thousand people came to the festival.
