Month-long investigation leads to drug arrests in Aiken County

MONETTA, S.C. – Eight people are charged with drug related offenses and other crimes following a month-long investigation in Monetta.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office seized more than $3600 of drugs as they searched two homes on Wednesday.

The following is a list of suspects and their charges:

*Danyell Daniels is charged with distribution of crack cocaine.

*Bobby Mealing is charged with unlawful neglect of a child and distribution of cocaine.

*Christopher Gray is charged with distribution of cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of marijuana.

*Brenda Phillips is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Erica Robinson is charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Bobby Clark is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Mae Key is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Mario Luna is charged with driving under suspension.

Other agencies that helped with the investigation include the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office and Aiken Department of Public Safety.

Sounds like to me columbia and aiken countys are having the same problems. And yes, its true, Columbia countys drug bust was wednesday also and they were home by night fall!

I agree, what are they going to do with them? If they are cracking down on the drug issue, then they need to shut down the Meth Lab at Hozes. Mike Yount and Larry Mckinney share a big part in the Hozes hangout. Mike and Larry need to be behind bars - drugs, alcohol - it needs to stop. Mike a/k/a Snowflake - what does that tell you? He was arrested for a Felony DUI that killed Jim Cohrs. His blood alcohol level was .122% and he is back on the street doing the same thing.
