Baby trapped in washing machine survives

D'IBERVILLE, Miss. (NBC NEWS) - A 7-month-old baby is recovering after being trapped in a running washing machine. Police say Valle Hernandez became trapped Tuesday night at a laundromat in D'Iberville, Mississippi. They believe he climbed in the machine and his four year old brother shut the door, causing the machine to turn on. Mike Adams, a local restaurant owner who was standing near the machine, was able to pry the door and save the boy. The mother will not face criminal charges but child services has been notified.
