Aiken County approves new cars for deputies

AIKEN, S.C. - The Aiken County Council approved the cost of 11 new patrol cars for Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

They need new cars each year because of all the miles they put on them.

This year they couldn't get all the vehicles they asked for because of budget issues. They asked for 22 and only got half.

The new vehicles will cost $350,000.
